Timeless, genuine portraits of your child from the comfort of your home.
I bring the studio to you for easy and convenient portraits of your children
How it works.
-
I believe framed family photos on your walls are far more valuable than digital images stored away and forgotten. Portraits displayed daily bring memories to life and invite gratitude. I want to share the joy of seeing your child’s portraits on your walls, just as I experience with my sons’ portraits in our home.
For me, it’s all about faces. As a father of two sons, my favorite photos are close-ups of them. Wherever we are, I always make portraits of my family.
When I see the framed photos of my sons, memories of each season of life come rushing back. Even portraits taken before and during my oldest son’s battle with kidney cancer are deeply precious—reminders to be grateful for life.

Now’s good. Time is flying by and our children are growing up too fast.
We don’t realize it, but children’s faces change so much from year to year, even from month to month. Getting their portraits done is a wonderful way to keep a record of who they are for years to come.
In short, get those portraits done sooner than later.
-
Your place. I bring a mobile studio and photograph your children at home, where they’re most comfortable. No need to load everyone into the car. Indoor studio lighting means no weather worries — I shoot year-round.
I need about a 12 ft x 12 ft space (more is welcome).
Based in the Tri‑Cities, WA, and happy to travel; contact me about travel fees if you’re outside the area.

Even though my portraits of your children are black and white, there are decisions to be made. From the first time we talk, I am leading the decision making process to make sure that at the end you have beautiful, heirloom quality art of your children on your wall. From guidance on clothing to frames, you will have an understanding of what we are “shooting” for at your in-home portrait session.
-
My session price is $150 (excluding print products). My sessions run as long we need to get great portraits of your children. With that said, even with larger families, I rarely go over two hours.
All families have different needs for their wall art, including varying budgets, and through the design process everything is customized to meet those needs. My smallest framed canvas starts at $300 and a six pack image bundle is $375.
If desired, after all the portraits are photographed, we do a casual whole family photo as well.
“If anyone can make a child's portrait speak—it’s Mark.”
